Team Performance and Drives

Optimize your team...

Each person in an organization has a unique drive and perspective on the work that needs to be done. The Management Drives Theory provides insight into what drives an employee. Each individual has their own unique combination of drives.

Management Drives uses a language with six colours to identify the drives:

Yellow:     want to analyze, understand, fathom
Green:     prioritizes people and social bonds
Orange:   wants to show progress, results and achievements
Blue:        wants to create certainty and clarity
Red:        stands for courage, pace and power
Purple:    is helpful and creates bonds and security

The different persons in a team can strengthen each other’s drives, but drives can also be complementary. Having insights into the drives of
team
members can help you to identify their strengths and weaknesses. It also helps you understand when and how communication between team members can go wrong or why improvement projects fail over and over again. Based on the insights, team members can understand each other better and learn how they can become more effective as a team.
