Each person in an organisation is a unique person in what drives him or her and how he/she looks at the work that has to be done. The Management Drives Theory provides insight in what drives the employee. Each person has a combination of unique drives.
Management Drives uses a language with six colours to identify the drives:
Yellow: want to analyse, understand, fathom
Green: prioritizes people and social bonds
Orange: wants to show progress, results and achievements
Blue: wants to create certainty and clarity
Red: stands for courage, pace and power
Purple: helpful and creates bonds and security
The different persons in a team can strengthen each other in certain drives or drives can be complimentary. Having insight in the drives of a team can help you to see their strengths and weaknesses. It also gives insight in where communication between team members can go wrong or why improvement projects fail over and over again. Based on these insights, team members get more understanding for each other and learn how they can become much more effective as a team.
Together with Drives@Work and Inspired Concepts Consulting we provide workshops, team coaching and management coaching.
